The Darkest Temptation – My Man, Ronan Markov
Hello, hello! We are back with our third book in the Made series — and it’s about my favorite man in the entire universe: Ronan Markov.
What’s this book about? Mafia romance. My kryptonite. And not just any mafia romance — this is The Darkest Temptation (Made Series Book 3). If you’ve been following my blog, you know I’ve already gushed about Books 1 and 2, but this one… this one is personal.
Why? Because unlike the first two heroines, Mila isn’t a fragile girl who’s been through hell with abusive exes or cruel fathers. No. Mila feels like me.
When I read this book, I was the same age she is — 20. I grew up in a home where I was loved and cared for, surrounded by people who wanted the best for me. Mila’s life felt familiar — except she’s in America, and when she flies to Russia because of her father, she doesn’t know that her life is about to collide head-on with Ronan Markov.
And Ronan? He’s not just a man. He’s the man. Thirty-two. Covered in tattoos. The kind of mature, controlled, lethal presence who can make an entire room freeze just by looking at you — and make your entire world burn with one sentence.
“You think you can walk away from me, kotyonok? Go ahead and try. I’ll follow you into hell.”
Kotyonok. Kitten. That’s what he calls her. And I’m a cat person — have been since I was nine. My oldest cat is thirteen now, born under my bed, and I love her to pieces. So when Ronan said that? I swear I felt it in my soul.
This book wasn’t just a story for me — it was an experience. Every snowy Russian street, every lavish, coldly elegant interior, every quiet, dangerous glance between Ronan and Mila… it pulled me in like I was there. I could see myself in Mila’s dresses, feel the weight of the gold jewelry she wears, sense the thrill of standing toe-to-toe with a man who could destroy the world for you.
“If you think I’ll let you disappear, you don’t know me yet. I don’t lose what’s mine.”
There’s this scene where Mila tries to slip away from him. It’s not dramatic, not reckless — just her testing boundaries. And Ronan? He could have been furious. He could have punished her. But instead… he worries. He can’t keep up the punishment because he’s too busy making sure she’s safe.
And that right there is why Ronan is my number one. It’s not just the danger, the obsession, the dominance — it’s the way he centers her. The way his whole world tilts in her direction.
“You’re not a weakness, Mila. You’re the only thing keeping me alive.”
Honestly? This book is the reason I’m still single after three years. My future husband has to be part Ronan Markov, part Nico Russo, part Christian Allister — a man who can look at me like Christian looks at Gianna, want me like Nico wanted Elena, and protect me like Ronan protects Mila.
So yeah, this isn’t just a book review. This is me telling you — you need to read The Darkest Temptation. Let Ronan ruin you. Let Mila’s journey feel like your own. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll understand why my entire bookshelf is now dark romance, and why my heart belongs to a fictional, tattooed man in his 30s.
